The multi-talented Peter Kelamis, is a very busy man these days.
His calm, comfortable presence on stage as a Stand-Up Comic leads
you to believe that he must have a lot of spare time on his hands
to write such insightful, reflective, interesting witticisms from
his life and the world around him. His Greek ancestry, combined
with being born and raised in Canada adds to his exotic charm, which
would be three inches taller if he weren't so bow-legged.
But
don't let his calm exterior fool you. Recently, Peter appeared on
the Commish, the X-Files, and America's Funniest People. In between
commercial voice-overs, he also managed to squeeze in an acting
role in the movie "Sleeping with Strangers". Last month,
he appeared as several different characters nightly at Punchlines
Comedy Club with the No Name Players Improv Comedy Group. He frequently
tours throughout Canada as a headlining Stand-Up Comedian and every
once in a while, he actually goes home to his apartment in Richmond
to sleep in his own bed.

Since
his schooldays, Peter has been "cracking up" his friends
with his humour. He truly finds that performing isn't just what
he does for a living, it's a personal necessity. Peter says, "If
I won the Lottery tomorrow and I was rich beyond my wildest dreams,
I would still be doing this." Peter is very confident about
his future plans for his career. He believes that as long as he
continues to progress creatively in the mainstream, one day he'll
find himself soaring in the jetstream. And that's much better than
waking up one day to find yourself up the mainstream without a paddle!
